Abstract:
[PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED] A mobile optical communication system and a mobile optical communicating
method are provided to carry out high speed and high quality mobile communication.
[MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] A transmitting unit (21) includes a light source
(22) for modulating a light signal in accordance with transmitting information,
and an optical member (23) for expanding the modulated light in one-dimensional
direction along a moving direction of a mobile member (11). The mobile member
(11) is provided with a light receiving unit (12) for receiving the light signal
from the transmitting unit (21), and a demodulating unit (13) for demodulating
the received signal, so that information can be received. As the mobile member
(11) moves, the light receiving unit (12) moves along a pattern of the light signal
expanded in the one-dimensional direction and can receive the light and the information
only until the mobile member (11) moves in the width of the pattern. If the transmitting
unit (21) is provided at every prescribed distance, it is possible to carry out
continuous communication.
