Abstract:
A mirror part (150) having a reflective surface (150D) and a square frame structure (110') are connected by an L-shaped flexible arm part having a first bridge part (120), an intermediate connection part (125'), a second bridge part (130), and a mirror connection part (140'). The first bridge part (120) extends along the Y axis, and the second bridge part (130) extends along the X axis. When voltage is applied to electrodes (121D-132D), the piezoelectric elements thereunder expand and contract, and the mirror part (150) rotates around the X and Y axes. The intermediate connection part (125') is provided with eaves structures (126, 127) that protrude toward the outside, and the mirror connection part (140') is provided with an eaves structure (141) that protrudes toward the outside. In a situation in which the arm part would be subjected to excessive displacement sufficient to cause damage, a stopper function acts in which the external surfaces of the eaves structures (126, 127, 141) come into contact with the internal surface of the frame structure (110') and excessive displacement is suppressed.
