Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile robot working in an outdoor environment, the mobile robot comprising: a body; a travelling unit for moving the body; a camera accommodated in the body to capture the outside of the body; a camera cover including a transparent window disposed in front of the camera, a first rotation body fixed to the transparent window, and a first fixation body fixed to a case of the body; and a motor for rotating the first rotation body. In a mobile robot and a control method therefor according to an aspect of the present invention, the mobile robot rotates a camera cover according to a predetermined standard and thus can stably operate according to the outdoor environment and a situation.
