Abstract:
An epoxy resin or urea-formaldehyde resin modified ceramic-coated separator, comprising a porous base film, wherein epoxy resin or urea-formaldehyde resin penetrates the ceramic-coated separator and cures therein, and an epoxy resin or urea-formaldehyde resin protective layer is formed on the surface of inorganic ceramic particles of the ceramic-coated separator, the surfaces and micropore walls of the porous base film and therebetween. Due to the characteristics of epoxy resin or urea-formaldehyde resin itself, the protective layer is uniform and will not block micropores of the porous base film. The epoxy resin or urea-formaldehyde resin protective layer may be formed by means of coating and curing epoxy or urea-formaldehyde resin ceramic slurry on a single-layer or double-layer surface of the porous base film, may also be formed by means of the in-situ polymerization of epoxy resin or urea-formaldehyde resin on the ceramic-coated porous base film, or may also be formed by means of coating and curing a layer of epoxy resin or urea-formaldehyde resin solution on the prepared ceramic-coated separator.
