Abstract:
The present description provides a registration method for cross-region offline payment, applied to a server of a code issuing institution. The method comprises: receiving a cross-region code issuing request sent by a payer terminal; generating a cross-region code comprising an interconnection identifier, a code issuing institution identifier, and payment account information, storing a corresponding relationship between the payment account information and a payer account, and returning a response carrying the cross-region code to the payer terminal, wherein the interconnection identifier is an identifier of an institution interconnection server serving a payment occurrence region, and the payment account information uniquely corresponds to an account of a payer in the code issuing institution; and sending a cross-region code registration request carrying the cross-region code and an authorization limit to an institution interconnection server having the interconnection identifier, such that after storing the cross-region code and the authorization limit, the institution interconnection server accepts, in a served region and within the authorization limit, payment performed using the cross-region code and the payer account by the payer terminal.
