Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a modular omnidirectional motion platform. By means of a modular design, different functions are divided into modules. The solution comprises a driving type omnidirectional motion chassis, a driving unit and a protection support. In the present invention, a special transmission mode is used to achieve the effect of continuous transmission of the driving type omnidirectional platform along a curve, so that a round omnidirectional platform surface is constructed, the occupied area of the device is reduced, and the utilization rate of the effective area is improved. By means of designing the modular driving unit and the mode of driving from the middle to the two ends, the problem in the prior art that a transmission structure experiences uneven stress is solved, abrasion caused by single-side stress is reduced, and maintainability is improved. By means of designing the protective support, complete decoupling of six degrees of freedom of human motion is achieved, such that enough safety protection is provided while the degree of freedom of the user is not affected, thereby achieving an effective balance between comfort and safety. The present method has the advantages such as being small in occupied area, smooth in user movement experience, sufficient in safety and comfort, easy to maintain, and high in expandability.
