A modular refrigeration device is provided which can avoid hindering the dissipation of heat from refrigerant tubing between adjacent unit refrigerators. In the unit refrigerators configuring this modular refrigeration device, in a position above a heat dissipation area (HA), which is formed by refrigerant tubing (15) installed to the inside of side plates (11L, 11R) in the unit refrigerator (10U), airflow direction control plates (14L, 14R) are provided which protrude from the side plates (11L, 11R) towards the outside of the refrigerator. In the case that a unit refrigerator is arranged in the left-right direction, because a ventilation space is formed between the adjacent side plates, there is no hindrance to the dissipation of heat from the side plates, and further, in the case that a unit refrigerator is arranged in the vertical direction, because air rising from the lower side plates flows towards the back, there is no hindrance to the dissipation of heat from the upper side plates.
