Abstract:
Provided is a moisture-permeable and water-proof fabric, the water pressure resistance of which rarely lowers even after has been washed repeatedly. The moisture-permeable and water-proof fabric is a laminate composed of a fabric and a microporous film laid on one surface thereof, said microporous film comprising a polyurethane resin as the main component. Further, the microporous film contains 1 to 9mass% of a fluorine-containing water repellent, 0.1 to 2mass% of an oil-soluble fluorine -containing surfactant and, if necessary, 3 to 45 mass% of silica fine powder. The moisture-permeable and water-proof fabric can be produced by applying a resin composition for the formation of microporous film onto one surface of a fabric, and dipping the resulting fabric in an aqueous solution containing N,N-dimethylformamide in an amount of 30mass% or smaller to solidify the resin composition and thus form a microporous film, said resin composition being a solution or dispersion in N,N-dimethylformamide which is prepared by dissolving or dispersing, in N,N-dimethylformamide, a polyurethane resin as the main component, 1 to 9mass% of a fluorine-containing water repellent, 0.1 to 2mass% of an oil-soluble fluorine-containing surfactant and, if necessary, 3 to 45mass% of silica fine powder.
