Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a method for preventing the occurrence of thermal deformation of a molded article and a film each produced by molding a structural protein; and a molded article and a film, each of which does not undergo thermal deformation. A molded article produced by molding a structural protein and having a birefringence of 1.0 × 10-5 to 10.0 × 10-5 can be prevented from thermal deformation by adjusting the water content in the molded article to 0 to 8.5% by mass.
