Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a molecular oxygen laser oscillator whereby it is possible to directly cause laser oscillations from excited singlet oxygen (O2(1Δg)). A molecular oxygen laser oscillator (100) according to the present embodiment comprises an excited oxygen emitter (130) whereupon a rotating disk (204) is disposed, and a laser resonator (102) which is positioned directly above the excited oxygen emitter (130) and is directly coupled thereto. It would also be permissible, with regard to the molecular oxygen laser oscillator (100) according to the present embodiment, for a partition (112) to be disposed between the excited oxygen emitter (130) and the laser resonator (102).
