Abstract:
A molecular detection/diagnosis reagent for a tumor takes faeces as a detection sample, and comprises a methylation detection reagent that contains an SDC2 gene. A methylation level detected by the SDC2 gene in the faeces has a high relevance with respect to an incidence of colorectal cancer. The sensitivity of the invention is 87%, and the specificity of the invention reaches up to 98% or is even higher than the specificity of the tissue.
