Abstract:
The present invention provides a monitoring device 10 comprising: a front data acquisition unit 21 for acquiring front peripheral area data that is related to an area in front of a moving body 100 in the traveling direction and acquired by a sensor provided in the front of the moving body 100 and information on the status of the moving body 100; a rear data acquisition unit 22 for acquiring rear peripheral area data that is related to an area behind the moving body 100 in the traveling direction and acquired by a sensor provided in the rear of the moving body 100 and information on the status of the moving body 100; a position identification unit 23 for identifying the position of the front peripheral area data and the position of the rear peripheral area data; and an object detection unit 24 that compares the front peripheral area data and the rear peripheral area data for the same position, detects an object, and provides an alert that there is an abnormality.
