Abstract:
A method for preparing repaglinde, a therapy drug for diabetes. This method comprises:
a (S)-form compound represented by formula (II) and a compound represented by
formula (III) proceed an amidation reaction in the presence of the condensation
agent, and produce a (S)-form compound represented by formula (IV); the (S)-form
compound represented by formula (IV) first in the presence of a base, its R2group is removed, then its R1 group is taken off in the presence
of an acid. The (S)-form compound represented by formula (II),(III) and (IV),
as well as R1group and R2 group are the same as the definition
in the specification. In this method, due to the introduction of R1 group
and the improvement of protecting group removing, the reaction time is shortened,
the efficiency is enhanced and the safety is improved, thus it is suitable for
industrialization.
