Abstract:
A moving object detection device is provided with: an object position data creation unit (12) for calculating positional coordinates of a moving object on the basis of ranging information measured by a ranging sensor (200); a pixel movement direction data creation unit (14) for calculating an estimated movement direction of each area on a video on the basis of video information captured by a video acquisition sensor (300); and a position movement direction correlation unit (15) for estimating the number of moving objects and movement directions thereof on the basis of the positional coordinates and the estimated movement direction.
