[Problem] To provide a multi-functional cylinder for treatment, which can be discarded after use and can also remain indwelling in a patient. [Solution] A multi-functional cylinder 100 for treatment, which is mounted to an endoscope main body 200 and which has a hollow pipe 110. A light source 114 for illuminating an affected site inside the body is disposed on one end side of the hollow pipe 110 at which the hollow pipe 110 is sealed. A holding portion 120 for fixing an end of the hollow pipe 110 is provided to the other side of the hollow pipe 110, and is held by an operator. The holding portion 120 has engagement projections 122 that engage with locking portions 212 provided to the endoscope main body 200. The light source 114 is electrically connected to the engagement projections 122. When the engagement projections 122 are engaged with the locking portions 212, the multi-functional cylinder 100 for treatment is mounted to the endoscope main body 200 and the engagement projections 122 are electrically connected to the locking portions 212.
