Abstract:
A multi-functional two-photon microscopic imaging system. A first excitation light source (1), a first photoelectric modulator (2), a first beam expanding apparatus (3), a reflecting mirror (4) and a first scanning apparatus (5) constitute a light stimulation module; a second excitation light source (19), a second photoelectric modulator (20), a second beam expanding apparatus (21) and a second scanning apparatus (22) constitute a point scanning imaging module; and a third excitation light source (23), a third photoelectric modulator (24), a third beam expanding apparatus (25) and a third scanning apparatus (26) constitute a line scanning imaging module. The system effectively integrates the techniques of point scanning and line scanning, and can realize the fusion and synchronization of three functions: structural imaging of living biological tissue, optogenetics regulation and control of cells, and imaging of physiological activities (e.g. a neuronal calcium signal).
