Abstract:
A multi-path set-connection cache and a processing method therefor. The cache comprises M assembly lines, a controller (34) and a data storage device (35). Each assembly line comprises an arbitration circuit (31), a tag storage device (32) and a judging circuit (33). The arbitration circuit (31) receives at least one query request at the nth moment, and determines a first query request from the at least one query request. The tag storage device (32) queries, according to a first index address, tag information stored in the tag storage device (32) to obtain at least one target tag address corresponding to the first index address. The judging circuit (33) judges whether an address matching with the first tag address exists in the at least one target tag address, and when the address matching with the first tag address does not exist, the controller (34) sends the first query request to a next-level device or other assembly lines for processing. The tag information of the tag storage devices (32) in all the assembly lines is different, and the tag information of the tag storage devices (32) in the M assembly lines is subsets of the tag information of the cache.
