Abstract:
A multi-purpose controller capable of preventing malfunction of a machine and coping with the diversification of the type of machines and attachments. The multi-purpose controller adapted to store a plurality of control programs in advance, read out a control program for a type of a mounted machine and control the same type of machine is provided with machine type selecting harnesses (3) connected to a machine body-side harness (2) valued in advance as a machine body-side control program, a first change-over switch (4a) enabling to command the machine body-side control program from the outside, and a first interlocking member (5) adapted to make the starting of the machine based on a non-identical control program not allowable when none of a first signal (S1) from the machine type selecting harness (3) and a second signal (Sa) from the first change-over switch (4a) indicate the same control program, or make allowable the starting of a control program for retaining the machine body on a safe side.
