The present invention addresses the problem of providing a multi-purpose fitness device with which progress towards recovery, maintenance and promotion of health is possible by providing motive power assistance in a comfortable posture such as when seated, lying face up or lying face down to generate twisting of various areas of the body, loosen muscle stiffness in hypokinetic people, and promote blood circulation intermixed with muscle training. The present invention also addresses problems such as dieting, rehabilitation, massage, stretching, cellulite prevention, metabolic syndrome-preventing exercise, etc. As a means for generating twisting in various areas of the body, the multi-purpose fitness device is configured from: main body equipped with a rotatably supported post, a repetitive drive unit disposed below the post so as to allow connection, upper and lower wings fixed to both side surfaces of the post, and a bat drive unit that is connected on the top part of the post so as to be slidable; and pad parts that are accessories. The multi-purpose fitness device is characterized in that by flexibly transmitting rotating forces of the movable sections of the main body that move front-to-back, left-to-right and up-and-down to a human body via pad parts, twisting exercises of the whole body are possible in exercise positions with a high degree of bodily freedom.
