Abstract:
A multi-speed transmission according to the present invention comprises: a driving shaft that rotates as rotational force is input thereto; a plurality of driving gears which are coupled to the driving shaft and rotated by the rotation of the driving shaft; a plurality of transmission gears engaging with the driving gears; a transmission shaft which is coupled to the transmission gears and includes, on the outer circumferential surface, a plurality of pawl assemblies that move in and out, wherein the transmission shaft becomes selectively coupled to at least a portion of the transmission gears according to the in-and-out movement of at least a portion of the pawl assemblies; a transmission control means for selectively controlling the in-and-out movement of at least a portion of the pawl assemblies; a plurality of driven gears engaging with at least a portion of the transmission gears; and a driven shaft that is coupled to the plurality of driven gears and transfers rotational force to an object to be driven.
