Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multifunctional air purification apparatus having functions of fine dust removal, disinfection of bacteria and virus, humidity control, and generation of oxygen and anions, and more specifically, to a multifunctional air purification apparatus having functions of fine dust removal, disinfection of bacteria and virus, humidity control, and generation of oxygen and anions, wherein the air purification apparatus captures and then removes fine dust or pollutants introduced into the air purification apparatus by means of a filter and electric precipitation; eliminates bacteria and viruses through a catalyst reaction between a photocatalyst and far-infrared radiation having wavelength bands of 254 nm and 222 nm; maximizes the effect of disinfection by transforming the remaining fine dust, bacteria, and viruses into anions, and exposing same, for a long time, to the catalyst reaction between the photocatalyst and the far-infrared radiation having wavelength bands of 254 nm and 222 nm; performs an ultrasonic humidification control so as to maintain a humidity of 50-60% at 23-25°C for an inactivation condition of airborne viruses introduced therein; and maintains clean indoor air in a pleasant and safe manner by means of anion generation for neutralization of pollutants in remaining indoor air and oxygen generation for supply of fresh air to the remaining indoor air.
