Abstract:
A multifunctional efficient beam splitter based on a metastructure grating, the beam splitter comprising multiple metastructure gratings which are periodically distributed; a metastructure grating comprises several dielectric layers (10) distributed at intervals, multiple air slits (20) being formed between the dielectric layers (10); the dielectric layers (10) and the air slits (20) have the same thickness, the dielectric layers (10) have different widths, and the air slits (20) have different widths; the phase delay of each metastructure grating spans a phase range of 2π, and the phase difference ΔΦ between adjacent air slits (20) is equal. On the basis of the diffraction mechanism of the metastructure gratings, the beam splitter can simultaneously realize high-efficiency light beam splitting by energy and polarization, has a broadband response, and can be suitable for the fields of imaging systems and optical communications.
