Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a multilayer film which is suppressed in the generation of iridescent irregularities and decrease in luminance, while having the surface unevenness controlled within a certain range.
The present invention relates to a multilayer film which comprises a supporting body and a back coating film on the supporting body. The back coating film contains a silicon-containing resin, a matting agent and a surfactant. The silicon-containing resin contains a condensation product of a silane coupling agent. The silane coupling agent contains a tetrafunctional alkoxysilane and a trifunctional or bifunctional alkoxysilane, and the molar ratio of the tetrafunctional alkoxysilane to the trifunctional or bifunctional alkoxysilane is from 25:75 to 85:15. If r is the volume average particle diameter of the matting agent and t is the average film thickness of the back coating film, t and r satisfy t < r. The back coating film contains 20% or less of inorganic fine particles.
