Abstract:
Provided are a multilayer optical information recording disk (10) and a method for manufacturing the multilayer optical information recording disk, the multilayer optical information recording disk comprising a plurality of recording layers (14) and intermediate layers (15) provided between the plurality of recording layers (14), wherein at least one of the intermediate layers adjacent to the recording layers (14) (first intermediate layer (15A)) is made of an adhesive. The recording layers (14) contain a polymer binder and a dye dispersed in the polymer binder, or a dye-coupled polymer, and deform as a result of the heat generated from the dye absorbing the recording light, and thus form projections (record mark (M)) on interfaces (18A) with the first intermediate layer (15A) projecting toward the first intermediate layer (15A) to record information. The recording layers have grooves (14A) on the interfaces (18A) with the first intermediate layer (15A) for a tracking servo.
