Abstract:
Disclosed in the present disclosure is a multiplying unit. The multiplying unit comprises a control signal generation module, a multiplexer, one or two 4 * 4 multiplying units and an adder tree, wherein the control signal generation module is respectively connected to the multiplexer and the adder tree; the multiplexer is connected to the one or two 4 * 4 multiplying units; the one or two 4 * 4 multiplying units are connected to the adder tree; the control signal generation module is configured to generate a trigger signal on the basis of a clock signal, and send the trigger signal to the multiplexer and the adder tree; the multiplexer is configured to gate high four bits or low four bits of an input signal according to the trigger signal; the one or two 4 * 4 multiplying units are configured to perform a multiplication operation on high four bits or low four bits of a multiplier signal and high four bits or low four bits of a multiplicand, output a plurality of intermediate signals, and input the plurality of intermediate signals into the adder tree; and the adder tree is configured to perform an addition operation on the plurality of intermediate signals on the basis of the trigger signal, and output a multiplication result.
