Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is a nasopharyngeal airway management device for brain-nasal cavity cooling, comprising: a cooling gas guide hose having a hollow tubular body along the length thereof and guiding a cooling gas introduced through one side to the other side; an adapter connected to the other side of the cooling gas guide hose and mounted around a patient's upper lip to distribute the cooling gas guided through the cooling gas guide hose into a pair of discharge ripples; and a nasal cavity cooling tube having a hollow tubular body along the length thereof, having one side coupled to the discharge ripples of the adapter and the other side inserted into the patient's nasal cavity, and having a plurality of discharge holes for discharging the cooling gas at any one point in the length thereof, wherein the nasal cavity cooling tube fixed to the patient's upper lip and connected to the adapter that splits and discharges the cooling gas flowing in through the cooling gas guide hose is inserted into the nasopharynx through the patient's nostril, and the cooling gas (low-temperature oxygen) discharged through the discharge holes of the nasal cavity cooling tube is discharged into the nasal cavity close to the brain, thereby inducing rapid, easy, and stable cooling of a local area of the brain while maintaining the nasopharyngeal airway.
