Abstract:
This navigation system includes a route provision device including a first processor, and a control device including a second processor. The first processor receives a starting location and a goal location from a user terminal under navigation, determines one or more route candidates from the starting location to the goal location, and supplies the one or more route candidates to the control device. The second processor acquires the congestion status of each area in each route candidate from an edge server or servers corresponding to said area or areas, and supplies the congestion status of each area in each route candidate to the route provision device. The first processor determines a recommended route on the basis of the congestion status of each area in each route candidate and provides the result to the user terminal under navigation.
