Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a near infrared cut filter glass which has excellent optical properties of having high transmission of light in the visible range and low transmission of near infrared light. This near infrared cut filter glass comprises P, F, O, Cu, and Ce, and is characterized by comprising 0.1 to 15% of Cu2+ in cation% and the ratio of Cu2+ to Ce4+ (Cu2+/Ce4+) being 3.5 to 15.
