Abstract:
A needle applicator 1 for feeding a liquid so as to pass through the inside of or nearby a plurality of microneedles onto a surface of or into the inside of a subject comprises: a base part 10 that has a side wall 12 and a support wall 15 that is connected to the side wall from the inside surface in the vicinity of the lower end of the side wall and has a circulation hole 16 formed therein, the upper part of the base part 10 being open; a needle plate 20 that is attached to the lower end of the support wall 15, has provided thereto a plurality of downward-pointing microneedles 23 that puncture the subject, and in which a through hole 22 is formed penetrating in the thickness direction; an absorbing member 30 that is impregnated with the liquid and can be fitted internally on the upper side of the support wall 15; and a pressing member 40 that presses the absorbing member 30.
