Title:
NEGATIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL, MIXED NEGATIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL, NEGATIVE ELECTRODE FOR NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERIES, LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY, METHOD FOR PRODUCING NEGATIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERIES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/119031
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a negative electrode active material which includes negative electrode active material particles, and which is characterized in that: the negative electrode active material particles include silicon compound particles including a silicon compound (SiOx:0.5≤x≤1.6); the silicon compound particles include Li2SiO3 and/or Li4SiO4; the negative electrode active material includes not more than 2 mass% of silicon dioxide particles, and includes silicon dioxide-carbon composite secondary particles including a plurality of the silicon dioxide particles and carbon; and the composite secondary particles include a lithium compound in at least some of the sites other than those of the silicon dioxide and the silicon compound (SiOx:0.5≤x≤1.6) in the composite secondary particles. Accordingly, provided is a negative electrode active material which, when used as a negative electrode active material of a lithium ion secondary battery, is capable of improving cycle characteristics and initial charge/discharge characteristics.
