Abstract:
The present invention relates to a negative electrode active material for a secondary battery and a method for manufacturing the same. A silicon-based active material composite according to an embodiment of the present invention contains silicon and a silicon oxide formed by oxidizing at least a portion of the silicon, wherein the content of oxygen on the basis of the total weight of the silicon and the silicon oxide is restricted to 9wt% to 20wt%.
