Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a negative electrode carbon material allowing obtaining a lithium secondary battery with improved capacitance characteristics, and a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery which use said negative electrode carbon material. This negative electrode carbon material for a lithium secondary battery consists of an oxide amorphous carbon material containing a graphene oxide layer. This oxide amorphous carbon material can be obtained by subjecting amorphous carbon to oxidation treatment in which a graphene layer of carbon crystallites contained in said amorphous carbon material is oxidized.
