Title:
THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER COMPOSITION AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/157502
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of obtaining a thermoplastic polymer composition suitable for use in obtaining a skin material which is excellent in terms of stress relaxation properties (shape conformability) and flexibility, is less apt to wrinkle when bonded to a base, and feels good to the touch. This thermoplastic polymer composition is characterized by comprising a 4-methyl-1-pentene/α-olefin copolymer (A) that comprises specific amounts of a constituent unit (i) derived from 4-methyl-1-pentene, a constituent unit (ii) derived from at least one α-olefin selected from C2-20 α-olefins excluding 4-methyl-1-pentene, and a constituent unit derived from a non-conjugated polyene and a thermoplastic elastomer composition (B) obtained by dynamically crosslinking a mixture comprising an ethylene/C3-20 α-olefin/non-conjugated polyene copolymer [I] and a polyolein resin [II], the mass ratio of the copolymer (A) to the composition (B), (A)/(B), being 10/90 to 49/51.
