Abstract:
Provided is a negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery, said negative electrode including a negative electrode active material, a fine graphite material, a conductive assistant material, and a binding material, wherein the content of the fine graphite material is in a range from an equivalent amount to 10 times the amount (mass ratio) of the conductive assistant material, and the average particle size (median diameter D50) of the fine graphite material is smaller than the average particle size of the negative electrode active material and is in the range of 1-15 μm.
