Abstract:
Provided is a negative electrode material with poly(para-phenylene) as a negative active substance, with a stacking/aggregation effect produced mainly by means of van der Waals force interaction between the molecules of the poly(para-phenylene), such that the poly(para-phenylene) has plenty of microporous structures and a larger interlayer spacing, which is conducive to the intercalation and deintercalation of potassium ions with a larger radius, and can also effectively alleviate the volume expansion. In addition, the rotating channel of the poly(para-phenylene) is further conducive to the intercalation and disintercalation of the potassium ions. By applying the negative electrode material to the preparation of a potassium ion battery, in combination with the corresponding electrolyte system, a stable potassium ion battery can be obtained, and the potassium ion battery has a higher specific capacity.
