Abstract:
A negative electrode of a secondary cell, manufacturing method thereof, and secondary cell. The negative electrode comprises a metal foil, and a compact metal phosphate salt film provided at a surface of the metal foil. The metal foil serves as a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode active material at the same time. The material of the metal foil comprises any one of aluminum, copper, iron, tin, zinc, nickel, manganese, lead, antimony, cadmium, and bismuth, or an alloy containing at least one of the aforementioned metal elements. The material of the metal phosphate salt film comprises one or more of aluminum phosphate, copper phosphate, iron phosphate, tin phosphate, zinc phosphate, nickel phosphate, manganese phosphate, lead phosphate, antimony phosphate, cadmium phosphate, and bismuth phosphate. The metal phosphate salt film provided at the surface of the metal foil provides insulation for electrons and enables lithium ion movement. In this way, the metal phosphate salt film has a function similar to that of a solid electrolyte film, thus enhancing compatibility between the negative electrode and the electrolyte, and improving the charge-discharge rate, cycle performance, performance at high and low temperatures, and safety of a cell.
