Abstract:
Provided is an ECU (1A) for controlling a negative pressure generation device (100)
which includes an ejector (30) for generating a negative pressure greater than
a negative pressure for extraction from an intake manifold (14) of an intake system
(10) of an internal combustion engine (50) of a vehicle; and VSV (1) which causes
the ejector (30) to function or stop its function. The ECU (1A) includes a stop
request priority control means which operates as follows. A throttle valve
(13a) arranged in an intake passage of the intake system (10) is driven by electronic
control. When the control system of the throttle valve (13a) has failed and the
VSV (1) causes the ejector (30) to function according to the failure or the vehicle
reduces its speed or stops its travel in the state while the ejector (30) is functioning,
the VSV (1) is controlled so as to stop the function of the ejector (30).
