Abstract:
Disclosed are a network access method, a mobile communication terminal, a network server, and a network access system. The network access method may comprise: a mobile communication terminal accesses a wireless area network of a visited place; the mobile communication terminal transmits a network identity acquisition request to a network server of the wireless area network; the mobile communication terminal receives at least one public land mobile network (PLMN) network identity either unicasted or broadcasted by the network server in response to the network identity acquisition request and adds the received at least one PLMN network identity to an equivalent home public land mobile network (EHPLMN) list, where the at least one PLMN network identity comprises a network identity of a PLMN of a visited place operator contracted by the home operator of the mobile communication terminal; and the mobile communication terminal selects a network at the visited place on the basis of the EHPLMN list. Employment of embodiments of the present invention saves the time that the mobile communication terminal takes to select a network and enhances mobile communication experience for a user.
