Abstract:
A network connection downloading method and device. The method comprises: at least one backup pre-allocated connection is created by a terminal device; a corresponding network initialization operation is executed before the pre-allocated connection is used, thus allowing the terminal device, when downloading a file, to select directly from the at least one backup pre-allocated connection a pre-allocated connection that is needed for downloading the file, and obviating the need to re-execute the corresponding network initialization operation. The method allows pre-allocated connections to be created according to a connection allocation policy and the network initialization operation to be completed in advance for the pre-allocated connections, as such, when use of same is actually needed, a connection can be extracted directly from the pre-allocated connections for transmitting a file download request to a server and corresponding data can be acquired from the server, thus reducing the time taken for connection transmission and increasing transmission efficiency.
