Abstract:
This network controller comprises one or more processors and memories, in order to make it possible to achieve both continuous operation of a route search system and a reduction in consumed energy or a leveling of use resources. The one or more memories store one or more programs. The one or more processors realize, by reading out the one or more programs, an operation state information acquisition unit, a route information acquisition unit, and a startup request generation unit. The operation state information acquisition unit acquires operation state information of a base station. The route information acquisition unit acquires route information indicating a navigation route from a start point to a goal point, the navigation route being determined from one or more route candidates. On the basis of the operation state information of each base station corresponding to an area through which the determined navigation route will pass, the startup request generation unit generates a request to startup the base stations, which are in an off state, corresponding to the areas through which the determined navigation route will pass.
