Abstract:
Provided are a network device, network printer and network device control method capable of being used without requiring device drivers that depend on the environment of the external devices. The network device is provided with: a file server (32) having a management unit for managing folders and information; a folder-creating unit for creating a folder for receiving a processing request from a client terminal (1) to the file server (32) via the management unit; a detection unit for detecting that a processing request has been received in the folder; a processing execution unit for executing the specified processing when a processing request is received in the folder; and a processing result communication unit for communicating processing results from the processing execution unit to the folder.
