Abstract:
A network residing method and apparatus of a 5G terminal supporting VoWIFI, and a storage medium and a terminal. The method comprises: when residing in a 5G network and in a standby state, detecting whether the current state involves voice prioritization; if the current state involves voice prioritization and it is detected that the network does not support VoNR, detecting whether a VoWIFI service can be provided at present; and when the VoWIFI service can be provided at present, continuing to reside in the 5G network, and performing a telephone service by means of VoWIFI. Therefore, when a terminal is in a standby state and a 5G network does not support direct provision of an IMS service on the basis of an NG RAN connection, the terminal can continue to reside in the 5G network, and use a telephone service by means of VoWIFI, thereby improving the user experience.
