Abstract:
Provided in the present disclosure are a network separation method and apparatus, the method being used in a terminal, and the method comprising: determining a successful connection with a target base station; setting a separation indication, the separation indication being used for indicating the separation of a terminal from a source base station; sending the separation indication to the target base station and, by means of the target base station, forwarding the separation indication to the source base station, such that the source base station performs network separation from the terminal on the basis of the separation indication. Thus, the present disclosure prevents the service interruption caused by the terminal being unable to successfully send a separation indication to the source base station, shortens the service interruption time during the handover of the terminal, and increases the accuracy and efficiency of network separation.
