Abstract:
Provided are a network sharing method and a terminal. The method comprises: a first terminal acquiring information about a wireless network, and sending the information about the network to a second terminal. The first terminal receiving a request for sharing the wireless network sent by the second terminal, and the first terminal initiating a Bluetooth personal area network function, the Bluetooth personal area network function being used for connecting the second terminal and the first terminal to the wireless network through Bluetooth. Because the first terminal sends the information about the wireless network to the second terminal, and shares the wireless network with the second terminal according to the request for sharing the wireless network sent by the second terminal, the second terminal can access the wireless network through the Bluetooth personal area network of the first terminal even if the second terminal is not within the coverage range of the wireless network. That is to say, the coverage range of the wireless network has been expanded.
