Abstract:
Disclosed is a network switching method. The network switching method is used for realising a switching connection between a mobile terminal and mobile networks of different modes. The method comprises: acquiring the power consumption when different operations are executed under the connection of the mobile terminal and the mobile networks of different modes; for each of the different operations, acquiring a power consumption ranking of each operation under the connection of the mobile networks of different modes; and acquiring the state of an operation currently executed by the mobile terminal, and switching the mobile terminal so that same is connected to the mobile network requiring the minimum power consumption when executing the current operation. Also disclosed is a network switching apparatus. By means of the present invention, a fast and convenient network switching method which improves the battery life time of a mobile terminal can be provided.
