Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a network system that can, by means of a simple configuration, avoid concentration of access to a file and reduce the overall communication volume. Provided is a network system that includes a plurality of node devices which temporarily hold a file to be sent and received. Each node device belongs to one of a plurality of groups for identifying a file to be held by the node device, said group being different from that of adjacent node devices in terms of network topology. The file is associated with information indicating zero or more groups. In addition, the node device includes: a cache holding unit which, when the node device receives a file associated with information indicating the group to which the node device belongs, temporarily holds the file as a cached file; and a cache transmission unit which, if holding a cached file corresponding to a file requested by the other node device, transmits said cached file to another node device.
