Abstract:
A new roller bearing (100) having a detachable flange, the new roller bearing being provided with one or more detachable flanges (140), wherein the detachable flange (140) has the same function as a fixed flange and can reliably bear an axial force. Since the detachable flange (140) can be mounted after a rolling body is in place, the implementation of the function of a positioning bearing by the roller bearing (100) is facilitated under the condition that a ferrule is not split. Due to the unsplit design of the ferrule, the processes of grooving, punching, hoop groove machining, hoop clamping, etc. related to a splitting process are decreased, the machining process is simplified, and the cost is optimized. Moreover, the detachable flange (140) is mechanically connected to the ferrule and then becomes a part of the integral ferrule, such that the bearing becomes an integral unit. By using the ferrule having the detachable flange (140), the wall thickness and the total mass of a ferrule blank pipe can be effectively reduced, the turning allowance is decreased, and costs are effectively saved.
