Abstract:
Provided are a novel non-alcoholic fatty liver disease therapeutic or prophylactic agent and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease prophylactic food. The present invention is a non-alcoholic fatty liver disease therapeutic or prophylactic agent containing a green-algae-derived substance as an active ingredient. The green-algae-derived substance is chlorella. The present invention is used as a non-alcoholic fatty steatohepatitis therapeutic or prophylactic agent. The present invention is used as a liver fibrosis inhibitor. In addition, the present invention is a non-alcoholic fatty liver disease prophylactic food containing the green-algae-derived substance as an active ingredient.
