Abstract:
This power transmission device (100) for supplying power to a power receiving device (200) in a non-contact manner comprises: a power conversion unit (20) for outputting an AC voltage; a power transmission unit (80) having a power transmission coil (81) and a capacitor (82) connected to the power transmission coil; a transmission line (70) for connecting the power conversion unit and the power transmission unit to each other; and a compensator (60) disposed between the power conversion unit and the transmission line. The compensator has an inductive reactance element (61) and a capacitor (62) which are connected to each other, said inductive reactance element having a larger inductive reactance than the inductive reactance of the transmission line, said capacitor reducing the inductive reactance obtained by combining the inductive reactance of the transmission line and the inductive reactance of the inductive reactance element.
