Abstract:
A nonaqueous electrolyte lithium secondary battery obtained according to the present invention comprises a separator and a porous layer which is formed on the surface of the separator and contains an inorganic filler and a binder. The separator has a thickness from 12 μm to 18 μm and a porosity from 52% to 67%. The porous layer has a thickness from 3 μm to 15 μm and a porosity from 44% to 70%. When the separator is impregnated with an electrolyte solution, the separator has a film resistance of 1.35 Ω·cm2 or less.
